DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend and/or cover the Enterprise-Anderson Groundwater Sustainability Agency’s Workshop on groundwater in Shasta County: \n\nDate: Wednesday\, November 19\, 2025\n\n\nTime: 5:30-7:00 p.m.\n\n\nLocation: Lema Ranch\, 800 Shasta View Drive\, Redding\n\nThe event will include a short presentation followed by a poster session\, with staff available to answer questions about local groundwater conditions\, development of plans to sustainably manage groundwater resources in the Enterprise and Anderson Subbasins\, and potential impacts that may occur if groundwater is not protected. Topics will include: \n\nHow California is protecting groundwater under the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act\n\n\nLocal groundwater conditions and impacts on streams\, farms\, and communities\n\n\nUnderstanding land subsidence and what it means for Shasta County’s future\n\n\nHow EAGSA is minimizing costs for residents\n\nThis workshop offers an opportunity for the media to learn about and share important information on groundwater\, an issue affecting water security\, agriculture\, and community well-being in our region. \nA press release and additional materials are attached.
