Vicki Richardson has worked in the banking industry for the last 40 years. Born in North Carolina, she lived for many years in a variety of Southeastern cities as she raised a family with her husband Carl.
Vicki moved to Redding with her family in 2007. In 2009 she became the Controller of Bethel Church, overseeing a $55M budget. Vicki was instrumental in creating Bethel's internal audit procedures, a budget plan for each department, preparation for the Annual outside audit, and a tracking system for Assets. She also implemented new Accounting software to accommodate the growth of the organization and a new payroll system to accommodate a staff of 650.
Vicki left Bethel Church both personally and professionally in 2019. She now works in a remote role as the Customer Support Manager for AcctTwo, LLC, an accounting software company based in Houston, TX.
She is deeply committed to racial equity and inclusion and to investing financially in the Black educators who are helping her to learn more about privilege and what it looks like to be an ally.
Vicki also loves watching and performing in local theatre productions. Some of her favorite roles have included Rosie in Bye Bye Birdie, Mrs. Paroo in Music Man and Lili in Carnival. She is involved with the Axiom Repertory Theatre and hopes to be back on stage soon.
Vicki and her husband have raised four happy and successful daughters and are the proud grandparents of 7 grandchildren.
