The Cascade Village Apartments project, located in the center of the City Shasta Lake, is almost finished. The project is a collaboration between the City, K2 Development Companies, Shasta County Housing and the Shasta County Community Action Agency. In a press release sent yesterday, February 10, City of Shasta Lake Manager Jessaca Lugo said the project represents growth and opportunity.
โThis development is not just about housing,โ Lugo explained, โit represents a chance for new economic growth in the heart of Shasta Lakeโฆ Ultimately, this project opens the door to new opportunities for families and individuals to thrive.โ
Cascade Village will include 49 income qualified units (15 one-bedroom, 20 two-bedroom, and 14 three-bedroom apartments) as well as an additional 7,500 square feet of commercial space. Instructions on how to apply for housing are available on the developmentโs website. Early applications are encouraged.
The City of Shasta Lake will also hold an informational meeting about the housing project on March 14 from 10AMโ2PM at the City of Shasta Lake Community Center. Those who attend will be able to ask questions and receive assistance with the application process, if needed.ย
