Clement Fire in Anderson Reaches 20 Acres, Prompts Evacuations
The fire is moving at a moderate rate of speed and threatening multiple structures.

Update: As of 5:20 pm on June 13, 2025 forward progress on the Clement Fire as been stopped at approximately 20 acres. The evacuation orders for zones HAP-7800, HAP 7930 and HAP 7940 have been reduced to warnings. The evacuation warning for HAP-7960 has been removed. Fire crews remain in the area.
Update: As of 3:15 PM on June 13, 2025, the evacuation warning for Zone HAP-7960 is being removed. This zone is now in a normal status. The evacuation orders for zones HAP-7800, HAP-7930, and HAP-7940 are now being reduced to warnings. A fire in Anderson that started Friday afternoon, June 13, off the 5500 block of Clement Court in Happy Valley has already prompted evacuations.
According to Cal Fire, the Clement Fire was approximately 20 acres as of 2:45 pm and is now burning in the Hawthorne Avenue and China Gulch area of Happy Valley. The fire is threatening multiple structures and evacuations have been ordered for three zones including HAP-7800, HAP-7930 and HAP-7940. An evacuation order means you should leave now if you live in an effected zone. An additional evacuation warning has been issued for zone HAP-7960. Find your zone here.
The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office notes that road closures are in effect in the area so the public is urged to avoid the area to allow fire crews to respond.
For those at risk, best sources for urgent information include Watch Duty, the Shasta County Sheriff and the Cal Fire Shasta-Trinity Unit/Shasta County Fire Department all of which are being updated frequently.
