His primary focus for nearly two decades has been public health, especially policy, access to care, health disparities and behavioral health, notably opioid addiction and treatment. Sapatkin previously was a staff editor for Politico and a reporter and editor at the Philadelphia Inquirer, and is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Gestalt Center for Psychotherapy and Training.
