City of Shasta Lake HHSA Office Closed Due to Flooding

Following heavy rains, the City of Shasta Lake’s Health and Human Services (HHSA) Office is closed indefinitely in response to flooding. The facility localted at 4216 Shasta Dam Blvd. serves as a hub for community members seeking assistance with programs such as CalFresh, Medi-Cal, CalWORKs, and Women, Infants and Children (WIC). 

In the interim, those inquiring about their eligibility, or other service needs related to these programs can contact HHSA’s Customer Service Center line at (877) 652-0731 or by going online at benefitscal.com

For those already enrolled in WIC, assistance is available by call (530) 225-5168 or (530) 224-4200, text WIC at (888) 424-6499, email ShastaWIC@shastacounty.gov or visit Shasta County WIC online.

To seek in-person assistance, the following facilities are also available to the public from 8:30AM–4:30PM, Monday through Friday:

  • Anderson Regional Office (for CalFresh, Medi-Cal services), 2889 East Center Street, Suite 203, 2nd Floor, Anderson. Office: (530) 229-8200.
  • Burney Regional Office, 36911 Main St. (Hwy. 299E), Burney. Office: (530) 335-5576.
  • Downtown Redding, 1400 California St., Redding. Office: (530) 225-5000.
  • Redding’s Enterprise area, 2757 Churn Creek Road, Suite B, Redding. Office: (530) 224-4894.
  • South Redding, 2460 Breslauer Way, Redding. Office: (530) 225-5164.
