New vote totals show leads holding for chief election role, both supervisor seats and Measure B
While candidates Joanna Francescut and Erin Resner have both reached the critical more than 50% totals needed to win a primary, Gallagher remains just shy.

Today, approximately 8,000 ballots were processed — leaving an estimated 21,500 remaining — according to election results released around 6 p.m.
The results show former Assistant Registrar of Voters Joanna Francescut maintaining her lead over current Registrar of Voters Clint Curtis, with 59.13% of the votes — a 1% increase from Thursday’s figures.
Redding Council member Erin Resner is also still holding her lead in the Shasta County District 1 supervisor seat, now with 54.5% of the vote. Opponent and current Supervisor Kevin Crye trails her at 38.19%.
If Francescut and Resner maintain their leads, the race will be decided in the primary.
The totals for County District 5 supervisor remain steady, with Anderson City Council member Mike Gallagher still just shy of reaching 50% of the vote plus one, the critical threshold needed to avoid a run-off this fall with opponent and current Supervisor Chris Kelstrom. Gallagher currently holds 49.8% of the vote to Kelstrom’s 40.8%.
The controversial Measure B, a ballot initiative that could significantly — and illegally — impact election processes saw early success with nearly 56% of votes Wednesday saying Yes. The measure continues to lose steam, but with votes at 53.09% still looks likely to pass.
A total of 36,617 ballots have been counted in Shasta so far this election.
This Saturday, the Shasta County Board of Supervisors has called a weekend special meeting to discuss “anticipated litigation,” though it is unclear whether the meeting is related to the election.

The ‘voting pattern’ is that it didn’t take long for the voters to have a belly full of Curtis
His new action of filming the election process is complicating matters, says Shasta Scout. He’s intentionally making it difficult. He’s a snake!
According to KRCR, “Curtis said he has also noticed an unusual voting pattern in several local races.
“It actually is not looking very good. It’s odd because you don’t usually see this pattern,” Curtis said.”

He’s going to try to pull some shady business, just you watch.

He’s all about “transparency”, yet somehow there is shady business going on…on HIS watch.
.
Convenient that all the “shady business” is something that’s not in his favor.

Watch for a last-ditch attempt to steal this election…
