The Latest COVID Vaccine Works to Combat the FLiRT Strain. Here’s Where to Find it in Shasta County.
Those over 65 and the immunocompromised are advised to receive the updated vaccine, according to the Centers for Disease Control.

The Center for Disease Control has recently expanded its recommendations for a new COVID vaccine released this fall.
The updated, FDA-approved vaccine will provide immunity to a new and particularly virulent strain of COVID known to medical professionals as FLiRT. Even if you’ve received COVID vaccines in the past, the CDC recommends that anyone older than 6 months receive a first dose of this fall’s updated vaccine. Seniors and the immunocompromised are also recommended to receive a second shot, six months after their first.
You can find the nearest public clinic with vaccines available at MyTurn. For the nearest private pharmacy with availability, check the CDC’s vaccine locator. Shasta Vax Facts also provides information on vaccine sites throughout the county–including in more rural areas such as Shingletown.
It takes time for the body to achieve immunity after a vaccine, so be sure to consult the CDC’s in depth information on how long it will take for the COVID vaccine to be effective. Timelines vary depending on age, whether or not a patient has been vaccinated before, and how long it’s been since their last shot.

Ultimately, it is up the individuals to decide if vaccine benefits outweigh the risks. Pfizer and the government wanted to keep the original Covid-19 development documents hidden for 75 years. A freedom of information lawsuit forced their release. A series of 50 reports summarizing the documents have been done by expert volunteers and is available as an ebook for $10. The book also contains information on mRNA vaccines.
The ebook can be found by searching for: ‘Pfizer documents analysis report’. I recommend anyone contemplating being vaccinated with an mRNA product take the time to read a little first.
It’s propaganda like this article that the American people have voted to reject. The democrats continue to spread fear about the sniffles. No thanks go inject your kids not mine.
Absolutely. The same old playbook over and over. Now its over for them! They will sink into the very swamp they have created. It makes me sick that they are still trying to push that poison on babies 6 months and older. CDC sucks. No one will ever trust them again.
No, thanks. I’m holding out for the next pandemic.
